Man/Meri wok bung : gendered participatory approaches in the HIV/AIDS programmes of non government organizations in Papua New Guinea
This thesis explores the gendered participatory approaches of Non Government Organizations' (NGOs), work on HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) programmes, in the Pacific nation of Papua New Guinea (PNG). In particular, the thesis compares and contrasts secular and faith-based NGOs' gendered participatory approaches to the VCT programmes and their grounds or reasons for taking such approaches.
